先にパブコメを実施した、General Chapter <665> Plastic Materials, Components, and Systems Used in the Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Drug Products and Biopharmaceutical Drug Substances and Productsに基づいて、硬化シリコーンエラストマーに関するGeneral Chapter <668>を提案するというものです。
General Chapter <668>にし、以下のような内容を盛り込む予定のようです。
・Biological Reactivity
・Identification
・Physicochemical Tests:
- Appearance
- Acidity or alkalinity
- Reducing Substances
- Substances soluble in hexane
- Phenylated compounds
- Mineral Oils
- Volatile matter
- Residual peroxides
- Platinum
