《更新》EMA／ウクライナでの臨床試験には柔軟な対応を

3/26付GMP Platformトピック「【速報】 PIC/S／ウクライナの状況についての声明」として、ウクライナの現状を踏まえてのPIC/Sによる声明文を発出しましたが、3/30付でEMAから「Advice to sponsors on managing the impact of the war in Ukraine on clinical trials」と題するNews Releaseを発出しています。

COVID-19パンデミックと同様の柔軟な対応をお願いしたいといったものです。
筆者も存じませんでしたが、ウクライナで臨床試験を実施している企業がかなり多いようです。

また本件について、3/30付のRAPSが「EU regulators tell sponsors to apply COVID flexibilities to trials impacted by Ukraine war」と題して記事に取り上げています。
