ちなみに、本邦でGDPと言うとCold Chainのような温度管理に目が向けられがちですが、欧米ではむしろ「不良原材料を含む不良医薬品（Falsified medicines）」や「偽造薬（Counterfeits）」による健康被害、さらには強奪による正規医薬品の裏販売等の問題が大きいと言えます。
最近では、EU内での医薬品強奪の背景にマフィアが関与し、なんと「€30m (2/11現在で38億円くらいでしょうか)」の額に相当するといったニュースや米国では犯罪提訴といったニュースが出ています。
医療費抑制うんぬんが問われながらも、国民皆保険・診療報酬制度・薬価制度などに守られ、安全な医薬品が入手できる日本は良い国だと思います。
