8/8付のRAPSが「WHO, UN report uncovers supply chain weaknesses that contributed to patient deaths」と題して、WHOと国連薬物犯罪事務所（United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) ）から発出された「Contaminated medicines and pharmaceutical inactive ingredients pose persistent threat to public health, say WHO and UNODC」と題する報告について記事に取り上げています。
WHOとUNODCによる最近の報告書は、世界的な医薬品サプライチェーンにおける重大な脆弱性を浮き彫りにしているとのことです。
この中には、ジエチレングリコール（DEG）やエチレングリコール（EG）問題のよる小児死亡も含まれています。
こういう世界的問題を知ると、「日本って平和で良い国だなー」とつくづく思います。
